THE MUSIC!!!
PETE, SOLO or DUO sounds
like a full band!
Different styles of songs from one guy who plays guitar, keyboards, percussion and
blues-harps, Pete also plays drums. (Thanks to Martin, Fender, Gibson, Gretsch, DW, Ludwig,
Yamaha, Yorkville, Roland and Korg!)
PETE offers a thousand professionally produced
digital backing tracks to provide a True Stereo Sound which can easily be adjusted to the required volume.
His voice is versatile, whether it be a song by Neil Diamond, The Beatles, Louis Armstrong, Eric Clapton, Roy Orbison or
Elvis, all styles; from Pop, R&B, Soul and Disco, to Rock, Jazz, Classic Country, Ballads and Blues.
Pete
knows all the '50s and '60s Hits... as a drummer in the '70s he played in a top NZ trio 6 nights a week for
6 years at exclusive hotel and cabaret residencies. His "magical musical moments" include drumming in 9 piece showbands
with members of the U.S. Army and Marine Bands, around the world cruises on luxury liners, tours through Australia and The
Pacific, drumming behind Bon Scott before AC/DC, working with Mick Fleetwood, playing Embassy Parties in Washington
DC and functions attended by Bill Clinton, and J.R. Ewing! He played in a duo at a private party in Florida for President
Jimmy Carter a few years back!
But performing in a DUO is FUN; unpredictable, exciting & rewarding... many
bands are limited in what they can play, PETE can offer a thousand songs!
Many songs are
sequenced as medleys to add variety and 'keep the dancers on their feet.'
A 10 minute Disco set might contain 10 Disco
hits, or a Beatles medley can combine 6 FAB million-sellers in a pacy 5 minute sequence. Then PETE might follow with
a 'piano and voice' version of "Imagine, "Desperado" or "Something." Whether
NEW or NOSTALGIC, Pete knows the lyrics to over one thousand songs. Even if Pete is unsure of a request he will surely give
it a try, you are welcome to try and catch him out!
